Hi! I'm Duck. I write social science fiction, dark fantasy, and horror, take photographs, paint, and dabble in pretty plating of my cooking and baking.
If you're familiar with this blog from earlier times, you may be surprised to find out how empty a space it is right now. I took a hard look at it and decided that it was simply a mess: stories in all stages of rough and finished drafts, edited and unedited, in many genres, in a variety of fonts (!) were jumbled together without consideration to unity of style or message. I decided to revert everything to "drafts" (nothing being lost) and start again with a nice, fresh, clean page.
Everything from here on out will hopefully be a little more unified. Unless clearly marked otherwise, all images are my original artwork and all stories are mine. I hope you enjoy the re-launch!
